About the OAP Provider List
What is the OAP Provider List?
The Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Provider List is an online listing of Clinical Supervisors of behavioural services for children and youth with autism. It is a resource Ontario families can use to search for, select, and confirm the qualifications of their autism behavioural service providers.
Clinical Supervisors who wish to join the Provider List need to demonstrate that they meet all of the OAP’s qualification requirements, as set by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
As listing one's services on the OAP Provider List is currently voluntary, families can use their Childhood Budget to hire Clinical Supervisors who have not yet joined the provider list. These Clinical Supervisors, however, must be working towards the qualifications and be able to provide a signed Attestation form to the family.
Starting on April 1, 2021, the OAP Provider List will become mandatory for all Clinical Supervisors who wish to provide behavioural services funded through the OAP.
